Fused Glass Bowl rugged, bespoke geometric pattern.

Beautiful Unique large Glass Dish. Created by firing twice in a high temperature electric kiln. 

1) The design is first created on paper to identify where pieces will be placed.

2) Layers of coloured flat glass and stringers are cut and placed ontop of each other to create a pattern and fired in a high temp kiln to stick them together into a flat, smooth piece. Removed when cool.

2) The piece is placed over a mould and placed back in the kiln to be refired to the highest temperature. The glass will take on what ever shape it is placed on or into. 

It has to be the correct temperatures for it not to break.

Each firing takes aprox 16 hours in total.
