Beautiful colourful and patterned layers of different types of glass such as streaky layers of flat glass, frit, powders and dichroic glass. The piece is created with flat layers of colours that have been cut, glued and fired once in a high temperature kiln, to stick the pieces together and soften off the sharp edges. Dichroic glass is glass which can display multiple different colours depending on lighting conditions. 

The glass disc is supported either in a handmade,1) half circle black steel stand, or another the 2) curvature has been rotated at the angle of a cresent moon. Your choice of the two.

Materials: Different types of glass and steel rods, that has been sprayed. Solid wood base.
