Fused Glass Abstract curved bowl

This bespoke piece was created as an eye catching, decorative bowl. It was created by cutting lots of coloured pieces of glass to create the puddle pattern: 1) fired in the kiln in layers to stick together 2)Broken up and Fired again on their sides, the heat then melts the glass into a puddle shape.

These pieces can then be used like i have, including extra crushed glass to finish it off. The black and white are cut and attached to a clear piece of glass, and the puddle pieces are also added in the middle and

It was fired in a high temperature kiln until smooth. It was cooled and removed and refired over a ceramic shape to a lower temperature until the dome shape is formed.
